Palmersheim & Mathew Profiled in Chicago Lawyer Magazine’s Spaces

April 10, 2020

Palmersheim & Mathew’s River North loft was in the spotlight in the April 2020 issue of Chicago Lawyer Magazine as the perfect spot for a growing firm that thinks differently.

The piece highlighted how the firm’s space is a far cry from the cookie-cutter offices of many large law firms in the Loop, giving a window into the firm’s philosophy of efficient and customized solutions.

Cutting-edge software and technology were top priority in outfitting the office. Thanks to Anand C. Mathew’s background in technology, the firm has the most user-friendly office equipment for document management, cloud computing, billing, invoicing, and e-discovery.

“The feedback we’ve gotten from clients and people we’ve hired since we’ve started is that the technology is miles beyond whatever they used at their prior firm — in terms of ease of use, accessibility, the features and all that stuff,” Anand said.

The article also highlighted the firm’s regulation-sized pingpong table, which, thanks to a growing client roster, is not used nearly as much as it was in the early days.

“It was great because it gives you an opportunity to relax, but also an opportunity to catch up on what’s going on,” Robert J. Palmersheim said. “That faded fairly fast. We added more attorneys and it was no longer workable to plot out the next couple of weeks playing pingpong.”

Chicago Lawyer Magazine is a publication of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company which includes information on attorneys, law firms, issues, and events that affect the legal community.
